Insurance Questions?

Many of our patients have dental insurance and are receiving dental benefits for the first time. It is important to remember that your dental insurance policy is an agreement between you and the insurance company. We are only third party to this agreement. Our office will assist you in preparing and submitting the necessary forms for these benefits.

If you have any questions on your dental insurance benefits, simply bring your dental booklet to our office and we will be happy to review your coverage with you.

Our in-house computer system will complete your insurance form or submit your claim electronically to insure prompt reimbursement for your dental services.

Implants Questions?

What are implants?
Dental implants are man-made replacements for natural teeth. The implants themselves are artificial tooth roots anchored in the gum or jaw, on which replacement teeth are permanently secured. Since implanted teeth are fixed in the mouth rather than removable like dentures, they allow the wearer to return to the functions associated with natural teeth.

Cost considerations
Most implant cases require an investment that closely parallels that of fixed bridgework.
One implant costs the same as a single unit of bridgework.
All of lower teeth can be supported by five implants

Is implant dentistry covered by insurance?
The implant itself may not be a covered benefit on most insurance policies, but the teeth fabricated over the implants are usually covered.

How long does treatment take?
It can take from six weeks to six months, or in some cases as much as 18 months to complete treatment, depending on your individual needs and general dental health. But there is NO TIME, that you are without teeth. Our office provides all patients with temporary teeth for the duration of the treatment. Treatment is performed in our office, for all implant procedures.
